Strathendrick Golf Club
Set on the hillside above the River Endrick, this well maintained 9-hole parkland course designed by Willie Fernie in 1901 provides plenty of variety and challenge for the discerning golfer. The yardage is 2419 from the yellow tees that includes a mix of par 3 and 4s and a long par 5 at 497yds. Well placed bunkers, a gulley that needs to be navigated out and back and many blind shots mean focus and skill are required if you’re looking for a low score! And if the golf’s not going as well as planned then the panoramic views from the Campsie’s to Ben Lomond should compensate. Strathendrick has great character and this extends to its original listed Pavilion, one of only a handful still in existence.

An absolute gem of a course. very welcoming team at the clubhouse, accomodated us for breakfast and lunch and 2 rounds as a group outing. The course is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. The food was delicious, will definitely be back!
Issmael F 03-10-2023My wife and I played Strathendrick on a day following a sustained period of heavy rain. That meant that parts of the course were declared unplayable and resulted in some rejigging of the layout. Despite the course changes and wet conditions, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The course is an interesting and deceptively challenging layout that should appeal to golfers of varying ability. We were also made to feel very welcome by members who helped us navigate our way around the revised layout. We hope to return to play the course in more favourable weather conditions, and would recommend to anyone visiting the area and looking for a value for money round on a fine wee course.
